What is the Excel add-in?

If you need to download, you have a direct acces from Excel. The Bloomberg Excel add-in (API) allows you to pull data from Bloomberg through Excel rather than from the regular Bloomberg terminal interface. This is very helpful for pulling large sets of data or comparing companies on a variety of factors.

You can access Bloomberg data via the Bloomberg API. You may access and use this data ONLY on the PC you use to access the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAl service and to download the data.You may not remove data downloaded using the Bloomberg API from this PC. You and your company’s use of the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service, the Bloomberg API and Bloomberg data is subject to the Bloomberg Agreement and Datafeed Addendum signed by your company.
