EBSCO english (Cinahl, ASP, Business Source Complete...): Transfer Search-String

Your free text searches can be transferred between EBSCO databases.
Once you have run a search and you switch databases, the search will automatically follow you to the new database.

Please note that it is not appropriate to transfer searches on controlled keywords that you have selected.
You can remove the searches with the controlled keywords before the transfer. To do this, tick the relevant search, then click ‘Delete Searches’.

Once you have the final search you want to transfer and you have removed controlled keywords from the previous search, you can send it to another EBSCO database.

Choose Databases

Afterwards, from the list, select which database you want to search in next.

The search will now be transferred one by one to the new database and you will see at the top which database.
Combine your search with the controlled keywords that belong to this database.
