Below are two different Guides:

You should use the first one if you have created a podcast, and the template for this can be found under publications/contributions/ Non-textual form/Sound/visual production (digital).

The second Guide should be used for registering participation in someone else's podcast. Here you should use the template 'Press/media'.

• Log in to Pure
• Choose the template 'Research output/Non-textual form/Sound/Visual production (digital)'
• 'Type': usually 'Communication'
• 'Date'
• 'Language'
• If the podcast contribution is part of a series, the title of the series should be entered in the 'Title' field, followed by the episode number, if applicable. The title of the contribution should be entered in the 'Subtitle field'. 
• If the podcast is not part of a series, the title of the contribution should be entered in the 'Title' field
• 'Add person'
  • in the drop-down menu 'Role' choose 'Producer"
• Add your department in 'Managing organisational unit' (mandatory)
• The Publisher field is not used (Publisher will not be displayed at The Research Portal)
• 'Place of publication': it is possible to add the platform where you can find the podcast e.g. Spotify, Apple Podcast etc.
• Add link (optional)
• Finally press 'Save'

• Log in to Pure
• Click on +Add content
• choose the template 'Press/Media'
• Title is mandatory
• Description (optional)
• Go to 'Add media contribution and media coverage' (mandatory).

  • Add Person (You)
    • Then it becomes possible to select Role: Research cited / Contributor – Remember to click 'Create'
  • Date (mandatory)
  • URL, Media name/outlet (optional)
  • in the menu 'Media type' choose 'Podcast'
  • In the 'Producer/Author' field, add the name of the person who created the podcast – click 'Create'
• Add your department under 'Managing organisational unit
• Finally press "Save"
